Honeywell Lyric is a Wi-Fi connected platform that is designed to simplify home comfort, security and awareness by controlling connected home products with a single app. With the Lyric app, the thermostat uses smartphone's location to know when you are away and saves you energy. Through geofence technology, it senses your return and helps make you comfortable upon arrival. Controlling this Apple HomeKit-enabled accessory requires an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with Android/Apple iOS 8.1 or later. Features 7-day flexible scheduling or location-based temperature control, auto change from heat to cool, custom fan settings to keep air moving (fan control dependent on wiring configuration), smart alert reminder to change filter and warn of extreme indoor temperatures, large backlit display, Celsius or Fahrenheit temperature display, 12 or 24 hour clock configuration, touchscreen display, displays set point and indoor temperatures simultaneously, permanent and temporary temperature hold. Smart Response learns home's heating and cooling cycles times to deliver optimal temperature at the right time. Compatible with most heating, cooling and heat pump systems (does not work with electric baseboard heat). Works with 2 Stage or multi-stage heat or cool. Requires 24 VAC power ("C" wire). Includes thermostat, Honeywell UWP mounting system, Lyric app for Android (English and French). Optional Power Adapter included - Wi-Fi thermostats typically require extra power via a "C" wire. Many homes lack this wire, so this adapter gives a simple, low voltage alternative. Easy to install and fits discreetly near the heating and cooling system.
